How to get the official Gemini ZIP

Follow this tutorial, then choose the file. The Demo data sample uses the same local parser if you do not have a ZIP yet.

Export Gemini

Google Takeout exports your Gemini chats as an activity log. Proof opens that file in this browser first, stitches prompts and responses back into conversations, and you choose what to send.

Open Google Takeout
Go to takeout.google.com and click Deselect all. Gemini has no in-app export.

Select My Activity — not “Gemini”
Check My Activity. The standalone “Gemini” product exports Gems configuration, not your chats.

Filter to Gemini Apps
Click “All activity data included”, choose Deselect all, check Gemini Apps, then OK.

Switch the format to JSON
Click “Multiple formats” and change Activity records from HTML to JSON. This is the most-missed step — the HTML default cannot be imported.

Create the export and download the ZIP
Choose Export once and .zip. Google emails a download link (valid 7 days); your chats are at Takeout/My Activity/Gemini Apps/MyActivity.json.

Choose the ZIP in Proof
Return here and pick that file. Nothing uploads until you review the checklist and press Import selected.

Manage imported Gemini conversations

Delete removes the stored source text and every private draft derived from that conversation. A Trace you already confirmed is a separate record and stays on Proof Score until you Remove it.
